Kate Eresian Chenok is a Director at Pacific Business Group on Health. She currently leads several initiatives that cross functional areas at PBGH and focus on delivery system reform and payment redesign. These include an intensive ambulatory care pilot, which will test principles of accountable care and innovative reimbursement models, and efforts to improve standards and tools for delivering evidence-based care for orthopedics, cardiac care and maternity care.

Kate has over 20 years of experience working with healthcare organizations on new business, product development, planning and marketing issues. Most recently, she served as Kaiser Permanente’s national Executive Director of Product Development, where she launched suites of consumer directed and worksite wellness product offerings. She held a number of other positions at Kaiser, including serving as Vice President of Medical Services Delivery with the Permanente Medical Group, where her team partnered with General Motors to develop a tailored delivery network for 100,000 employees in a Midwestern city.

She also led the startup and served as Executive Director for the Council of Accountable Physician Practices, a non-profit research consortium and advocacy group for multispecialty physician groups. Kate began her career in healthcare as a management consultant with Booz, Allen and Hamilton in New York, and with Lewin and Associates in Washington, D.C. Kate received her AB cum laude from Harvard College and her MBA from the Yale School of Management.
