Amanda Goltz

Amanda Goltz is Senior Manager of New Initiatives. Her work includes several initiatives that focus on delivery system reform and payment redesign. These projects include a statewide joint replacement registry to provide standards and tools for evidence-based care for orthopedics; a primary care pilot to enhance care coordination for high risk patients, and a quality collaborative focusing on cardiac care.

Amanda has more than 10 years experience in organizing and leading improvement programs in quality and safety. Amanda comes to PBGH from Manatt Health Solutions, where she supported the work of the California Health and Human Services Agency in building the infrastructure for statewide health information exchange in California. At Partners Healthcare in Boston, she directed the system-wide quality improvement program, with responsibility for performance in publicly reported and internally developed measures of quality across the integrated delivery network. While at Partners, Amanda led the development of a website to engage the community around quality, safety, and efficiency measurement, and provide a resource for patients and consumers to partner with providers to enable high performance care delivery.

Amanda began her career in clinical informatics at New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation, working on health information technology adoption projects across the city’s public emergency departments. She received her BA with honors from Columbia University and her MPA from New York University’s Wagner School of Public Service.
